We’re excited to announce a new partnership between our lab, McGill University, Lime Micromobility, and Mobilizing Justice to evaluate the impact of Lime’s reduced fare program, Lime Access, in Canadian cities like Edmonton, Mississauga, and Kelowna. This research will focus on how discounted shared micromobility services can benefit low-income travellers, examining aspects like trip frequency, purpose, and the financial and health impacts of different subsidy levels. Our findings will provide insights into improving and sustaining such programs, with results expected by Fall 2025.
