The 16th Conference on Spatial Information Theory took place from September 17-20, 2024, in Quebec City at the Séminaire De Québec. This year’s biennial event was hosted by Professor McKenzie, who served as the general chair. Organizing the conference required significant effort to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants, and it’s safe to say the event was a success.

A total of 110 attendees participated, with the program featuring paper sessions, keynote talks, thematic discussions, and various social events. One of the highlights beyond the scientific program was a sightseeing boat cruise along the St. Lawrence River.
