It has been a busy week at the Platial Analysis Lab as we shared our work and connected with colleagues across Canada.
Several lab members took part in the North American Bikeshare and Scootershare Association (NABSA) Annual Conference, held in Montréal this week. Daniel Romm presented our ongoing research on reduced fares for e-micromobility vehicles in Grand Rapids, conducted in collaboration with Lime as part of the Mobilizing Justice pilot project. Dan Qiang and Jenny Zhu also played key roles in the event, serving as conference hosts and helping showcase the lab’s work in micromobility.
Also this week, Grant McKenzie represented the lab at Esri Canada’s GIS in Education and Research Conference in Toronto. He presented our recent study on gender differences in recreational running and connected with GIS education and research colleagues from across the country.
